About IP address lookup
Check the IP address used to connect to the internet, for connection settings or VPN checks. The tool uses Poco’s own endpoint without querying an external IP lookup service.
Public and local IP addresses
Several devices in a home or office can share a public IP. Local addresses, such as those starting with 192.168., are used inside a network and may differ from the address shown here.
This tool shows one address used to connect to Poco. It does not determine your location, retrieve device-local addresses or test IPv4 and IPv6 simultaneously.

Will it show both IPv4 and IPv6?
It shows the one address used for this connection to Poco, rather than listing all addresses on your device.
Why is it different from my device settings?
Your device may show a local IP address, which can differ from the public address. With a VPN or proxy, you will see that connection’s address.
Is my IP address saved?
The tool does not store the result in a database or browser storage. The hosting platform may include IP addresses in connection information or access logs.
