Start with 3 or 5 colors to capture the overall feel. Increase to 8 or 10 for more subtle variations.
This tool groups similar colors to find representative shades; it is not an eyedropper for individual pixels. Switch between HEX and RGB, or save an image of the palette to share it.

Are transparent areas included?
Nearly transparent pixels are excluded. Colors cannot be extracted from a fully transparent image.
Why are there fewer colors than requested?
If an image has fewer distinct colors, such as a solid-color image, the palette shows only the colors available.
